Cherié began belly dancing in 2003 while living in San Diego. After moving to Sonoma County in 2004, she joined BlackSheep BellyDance becoming a member of the professional troupe in 2006. In 2008, she & eight other former members of BlackSheep formed WildCard BellyDance. Cherié loves the dynamic nature of improvisational belly dance. She feels it has been a powerful, life changing experience. It is an empowering form of feminine expression, good for your body, mind & soul. She enjoys the intuitive connection with her sister dancers.

Besides belly dance, Cherié also performs with the Alchemystics, a fire & stilting group. She is training to be a Waldorf teacher. Currently, Cherié is on a hiatus to enjoy her new baby.
