We perform Tribal Style Belly Dance. Our sets will include the use of zills (finger cymbals) and we will balance either baskets or swords (actually they are battle ready Hawks-eye Scimitars) depending on space and type of venue. Tribal Style Belly Dance is known for group improvisational choreography, the exciting interaction between dancers. Our troupe is well known for it's colorful and opulent fusion of ethnic costuming. Our dancers have been performing professionally together for several years.

Our costuming and musical sets are numerous and range widely in style from the traditional music of North African and The Middle East, all the way to India and parts between, to the more modern world-beat music.
NOTE: We have a two dancer minimum and suggest three dancers or more for the most dynamic troupe show.

• 2 dancers: $175 for a typical set of 12-15 minutes in length.

*All fees listed are for distances of 20 minutes or less drive time (one way) from central Santa Rosa. For shows outside that radius an extra drive time charge will apply. WildCard BellyDance dances at multiple restaraunts, festivals & winery events. We also specialize in creating a unique entertainment option for your private party. Whether its a wedding, birthday party (we have danced for ages 4 to 80), anniversary or corporate dinner party, we can tailor a performance for your event that will leave everyone smiling. WorkShop Descriptions for BellyDance Teaching Events

• Tribal Combinations and Transitions
  Whether you are an improv dancer looking to add some saucy new moves to your repertoire , or a tribal dancer ready to try something a little different, this workshop is perfect for you! Always been curious about leading on the left? We will break it down! Join WildCard BellyDance as we share some of our unique tribal combinations and transitions! We will show you basic movements as well as some of our signature dynamic combos, and teach you how to string them together improvisationally by using visual cues and seamless transitions. All skill levels welcome, but be prepared to come and dance! We will practice what we have learned by breaking into small groups and dancing together, so bring your finger cymbals!


• Dancing on the Edge with WildCard BellyDance
  Are you looking for something to make your dance a little more dangerous and edgy? Adding the element of sword balancing will do just that. We are very excited to teach our NEW synchronized group improv scimitar format. In this workshop we will explore different ways of presenting, dancing with and balancing your blade, including floor work... all within a cued ITS format! Whether your sword is a stage prop or a battle ready scimitar bring it and be prepared to add a little edge to your dance. *Please bring knee pads, a head scarf and something to balance.


• Tribal Spins with WildCard BellyDance
  Love to Spin? We do too! There is nothing like pulling off a hot spin to Wow an audience. In this workshop we will break down proper spin technique and share some of our signature spin combo's like the Powerstroke and the Wild Sailor. All our combos are ATS friendly! Bring your finger cymbals because we love to play while we dance!
